Summer is a great time to get outdoors and enjoy what our area has to offer!  Some places you don’t want to miss:

North Point Park – a great park for families with a splash pad right on the Charles River.  There are two children’s play areas, walking/running/biking trails and even a small canal for kayaking.

Harvard Museum of Natural History – a great museum to tour with the kids.  It is not too big and one can spend from 2 hours to all day depending on your interests.  http://hmnh.harvard.edu/

MIT Museum – a fabulous science museum with changing exhibits. http://web.mit.edu/museum/

While visiting the area, you must see Boston with all it has to offer for every age!  If you’re travelling with the family, don’t miss walking The Freedom Trail, take in a ball game at Fenway Park, the Boston Museum of Science, visit the USS Constitution Museum, Boston Children’s Museum and of course Quincy Market!

Cambridge is not a far drive from the shoreline and visiting the coast of Massachusetts is breathtaking.  Take a day and go see Gloucester or visit Salem.  So much to do that you can spend a week and not be bored.

Don’t forget to stop into Charlie’s Kitchen for the best pub food in the area and enjoy a drink under the stars in our outdoor beer garden, listen to  or take a try at trivia on trivia night!
